What are your responsibilities at p78?

My areas of responsibility at p78 are varied. On the one hand, I maintain and expand our internal IT infrastructure, on the other hand, I work as a technical consultant in customer projects and support our customers in the implementation of HR projects in the SAP environment. In addition, as an information security officer, I am responsible for the development, certification and continuous improvement of our information security management system in accordance with the ISO 27001 standard.

What makes the day-to-day work of a consultant special for you?

The fact that varied areas of responsibility constantly bring new challenges, making every day a new opportunity to learn something new.

What makes working at p78 special for you? 

The trust of the management level in my own abilities and the possibility to develop and shape them freely.

What should not be missing in your suitcase on a business trip?

The obligatory sweatpants for the evening.

What are your areas of responsibility at p78?

My focus in the HR Technology & UX area is on Employee and Manager Self Services. There I advise our customers to find the best solutions and then implement them in the backend development. Other areas I am involved in are Enterprise Performance and Compensation Management.

What has your journey been like so far at p78?

When I started as a dual student at p78, I used to support my colleagues with smaller work packages and thus got to know different areas of SAP HCM. Today, I am a member of several projects, I am in regular contact with customers and I take on tasks independently.

What makes a consultant's day special for you? 

For me, it's the mixture of development and consulting. As a developer, you're in the thick of things and can show customers the best options. In the daily routine, there are times when it's quiet and you can concentrate on your work, as well as action-packed times when you have a lot of contact with others. This variety is what makes it work for me.

What makes working at p78 special for you? 

Definitely the working atmosphere. Everyone in this young team is very helpful and open to new suggestions. The yearly company event at the Oktoberfest is a highlight every year. I can also flexibly arrange my working hours and work from home.

What are your areas of responsibility at p78?

Since I have found my passion in the area of "HR Strategy & Transformation", my focus is mainly on the topics of project management, process management & change management. Most of the time I design our implementation projects from a functional point of view and always try to answer all questions around a sustainable HR-IT strategy together with the customers. I am also involved in many HR transformation projects and help to anchor the change in the organization.

What makes your day-to-day work as a consultant special? 

What makes my day-to-day work special is the variety of tasks. Every day offers new opportunities and challenges as well as the chance to always learn something new. The fact that we always have the opportunity to work strategically on projects and shape the future of work in organizations together with our clients also makes our job special.

What makes working at p78 special for you?

One of the things that makes working at p78 so special is that we are an absolutely great team. We support each other, share our experience and knowledge, and stand up for each other. In addition, you can contribute your own ideas and drive forward topics that you are passionate about.

What should not be missing in your suitcase on a business trip? 

The "casual" clothes should never be missing in the suitcase, because in the evening after work we like to sit together at dinner or at the bar.

Positive and friendly colleagues, work flexibility and smiling faces.

What should not be missing when travelling on business?

Headphones. I did a seven hour train journey once and never want to do it again ;)

What makes working at p78 special for you?

For me, the freedom, flexibility and trust that people place in me is what makes working at p78 so special. I am inspired by the good and positive atmosphere in the Munich office and the fact that colleagues have become friends. Working together is therefore easy and uncomplicated, even across locations and teams. It also makes me very happy to see what we have already achieved and how we have been able to drive the p78 brand forward in recent years (even in difficult times).

What makes working in marketing special for you? 

Diversity, dynamism and creativity are what distinguish marketing and communication for me. Marketing must always evolve in line with our lives and technology. As a result, every day brings new, interesting challenges and topics where you can contribute your own ideas to reach your target groups across a variety of platforms. The beauty of it – our work is so tangible and visible. Everything you see, hear, read and perceive about us as a company, about our products and services comes from marketing and is available for almost everyone to see as activities focus more and more on the online world. For me, the best thing about it is that you get to work in an incredible number of different areas and topics and collaborate with a wide variety of colleagues, customers and partners.

Our Social Commitment

At p78, we measure our success not only in numbers but also by how we fulfill our responsibility to the environment and society. We understand social responsibility as caring for our fellow humans and our planet – and above all, being committed to it. We are grateful for our privileges and, throughout the year, we undertake social and ecological initiatives with strong partners to make the world a better place.

For us, it is a priority to maintain the Earth as a stable ecosystem. Therefore, we are committed to the sustainable use of natural resources. We use green electricity, prefer sustainable, regional suppliers, and offer company bikes as a sustainable alternative to company cars.

Our social initiatives include blood donation campaigns, social days where our employees get involved in charitable projects, supporting the Hacker School in running programming courses for schools, and Girls' Day, which promotes technical careers among girls and young women. 

Our diversity network “WoMen”, operated jointly with our parent company cbs, which promotes diversity in the workplace, is an important part of our social responsibility and supports our commitment as a signatory of the Diversity Charter to create an inclusive work environment.

We also offer our employees the opportunity to support two non-profit organizations, "Hacker School" and "Sozialhelden e.V.", by donating a portion of their wages. p78 rounds up the amount, of course. The "Hacker School" is committed to getting children and young people excited about the digital world. The "Sozialheld*innen" are dedicated to inclusion and accessibility.

For our commitment to CSR, we received the “Most Responsible Employer” award for the first time in 2025, presented by ZEIT Verlag in collaboration with kununu.

In addition to our headquarters in Munich, p78 has other attractive locations in Hamburg, Barcelona and Perth.
